the cabin game Feeling Small, the Puppet Event
Hold the toy, call the prop, and do not treat a vanished puppet as a riddle.
Feeling Small is a puppet / toy Event Card in the cabin game. It is not a thirteenth monster to catalog, and it is not the attic chase. You play the card, you STAND UP, and a toy becomes the object the minigame cares about. The 2nd wave of bug fixes on 29 August 2026 exists because that toy disappeared from players’ hands. If the prop still vanishes, you are not solving a riddle. You are on an older depot. Verify files, then come back.
the cabin game entered Early Access on 27 August 2026. 1–4 players, solo or online co-op, Steam Windows, English interface and full audio. Event Cards are poorly explained; press M. Losing an event still pulls the ghost closer on the clock track. Winning often pays nothing. That tax is why you do not greed Feeling Small on a blank notebook. Pair this page with survive events and event cards. The first-hour loop stays on getting started.
What the card actually is
Public notes call it the Feeling Small puppet event. The prompt is a toy you are supposed to keep. Co-op groups wipe this one by treating the prop like junk, dropping it to free a hand, or assuming a vanished item is “the puzzle.” After the 2nd wave, the toy should stay in hand. If it does not, stop the table and check versions. Mixed builds also freeze turns; that is a hosting problem, not a puppet riddle.
Do not mix this event with:
- The child’s-room toy-box that can swallow a body. That trap is a separate set-piece on the Monsters Hub. Feeling Small is a held toy, not a wheeled box.
- Attic Stalker totems. Totems became droppable in First Round. The Feeling Small toy is the opposite lesson: do not lose it. Dedicated attic notes: Attic Stalker.
- Musical rooms / giant monkey popcorn balls. Those are a different interactable. Giant Monkey covers collision and popcorn.
If the card text and the M overlay disagree with this page, trust the live card. Early Access still rewords manuals. Optimization on 30 August 2026 included minor rewording of the game manual and some cards. Reread Feeling Small when you draw it after that patch.
How to play it without wiping the table
- Read the card out loud before anyone stands. One caller. The rest wait.
- Press M. Tips were rewritten in the 2nd wave. People who skipped them on launch night are playing a different event.
- Hold the toy. Do not drop it to “free inventory” unless the live prompt says to. The bug that vanished it from hands is the reason this page exists.
- Do the objective, then sit. Do not wander the Ranch “while we have the puppet out.” Events are taxes on the identification window.
- Watch both pawns. A “win” that ate three minutes can still lose the run if the monster marker caught up. Lifesaver cards are the undo on that track, not a puppet buff.
Solo players have no caller. Put the toy in the hand you will not use for doors, complete the prompt, sit, write one line in the clue notebook. Time-skip cards do not teach this minigame. Solo is the longer warning.
Co-op: one toy, four people
Four players will all grab for the same prop. That is how Feeling Small becomes a slapstick wipe. Assign one holder. Everyone else watches doors, the clock, and whether the lights dropped. Do not throw a Boo Factory trick at the person holding the toy. Tricks ‘n treats mess with friends; they do not shove the monster pawn. Co-op covers that social contract.
If the holder dies or crashes, the table still has a clock. Sit. Decide whether you reset or continue. Neighbour darkness plus a vanished toy on a pre-2nd-wave build is two bugs stacked; file both on Discord with GPU and player count. Official channels are on Links.
Layout that makes a puppet event survivable
You place rooms before this card lands. A loop of hallways from room layout lets the holder walk without pinning the group in a one-door Cellar. A child’s bedroom with a toy-box in it is not automatically the Feeling Small arena — do not path into the toy-box trap because the card said “toy.” Check the live prompt.
The Dining Room remains the starting room. After the minigame, walk back, sit, and look at the clock track. Table rules exist because groups forget that sitting is part of the event, not a cutscene after it.
Patches that touch this card
- 2nd wave (29 August 2026): fixed the Feeling Small puppet event bug where the toy would disappear from players’ hands. Also added more in-game tips and asked you to reread them.
- First Round (28 August): droppable totems, extra tips, clock slider. Those are attic/mix changes. Do not apply “drop the totem” muscle memory to this toy.
- Optimization (30 August): performance, version mismatch, join-code false fail, manual rewording. Not a Feeling Small content drop.
- 3rd round: the studio said another round of bug fixes would come after the 2nd wave. As of 30 August 2026 that round had not posted. If the toy still vanishes after you verify files, you may be waiting on that pass.
This wiki will not invent extra puppet lore to look complete. Twelve monsters are in the build; Feeling Small is an Event Card. Log what the prompt actually asked, then go back to identifying the escape room on clues and how to escape. Candy will not help. A connected cabin and a held toy will.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about cards, clues, monsters, and escaping the cabin.
Is Feeling Small a monster?
No. It is a puppet / toy Event Card. Threat bodies live on the Monsters Hub. Treat this page as a minigame note next to survive events.
The toy vanished from my hand. Is that the puzzle?
No. That was a bug. The 2nd wave of bug fixes on 29 August 2026 stopped the toy disappearing from players' hands. Verify game files via hosting.
Should I drop the toy like an attic totem?
No. First Round made attic totems droppable. Feeling Small is the opposite: keep the puppet unless the live card says otherwise. See Attic Stalker for totems.
Can Boo Factory treats help?
No. Candy at the Boo Factory is cosmetic and lobby chaos. It does not hold the toy or shove the monster pawn.
Do I greed Feeling Small to 'learn it'?
Not on a blank notebook. Events are taxes. Build connected rooms, investigate, then survive the card when the deck forces it. Priority is on the Cards Hub.
